Jewellery is a real passion and is a major part of my life. It gives me enormous pleasure to have conversations with people about their choice of engagement rings, personal jewellery or what has been handed down. It’s so important that people are relaxed and don’t feel pressurised when making important decisions – which is why having an excellent cup of coffee seemed the right way to go in a market often dominated by pushy salespeople. If customers feel I go the extra mile for them, then my mission has been accomplished.

Artisan roast coffee, fabulous gluten free cakes, a relaxed atmosphere.
Browse the jewellery - or enjoy coffee & cake - while you enjoy the unique concept that is Brill Jewellery & Coffee.
Teresa Brill explains, ‘Everyone says it’s such a wonderful and unique concept. To me the natural and relaxed way to discuss jewellery is over great cup of coffee. Whether it’s a couple buying a ring, repairing a worn fitting, or valuing precious bracelet the first thing you want to establish is trust – the last thing you want is predatory sales techniques.’
The beautiful shop houses a lovely range of modern, vintage and antique jewellery and a smart coffee shop.
Teresa concludes ‘I’ve spent over 20 years in the Jewellery business - working in Edinburgh has highlighted two key values: superb quality with genuine service. Informed Conversation, Cake and Coffee - that’s three more C’s to add to the traditional four!
